How Our Clients Are Helping to Build Homes for Those in Need

A portion of all proceeds from our work is donated to Homes 4 Homes, a nonprofit that builds homes in developing countries

We believe that everyone should have a safe, inviting home to live in, which is why we’ve partnered with the 501c(3) organization Homes 4 Homes to help build houses for the most vulnerable in developing countries.

Believing that homes are the foundation for a family’s future, Homes 4 Homes offers a scalable model for empowering local leaders and construction teams to work together to create homes with concrete foundations, solid rooftops, strong walls, and locking doors to protect at-risk members of their communities.

Since they began, Homes 4 Homes has built over 700 homes and housed over 4,000 people. They currently serve 10 communities across four different countries. We contribute a portion of all our proceeds to this effort, and Homes 4 Homes uses a 100% giving model — using every dollar donated — to fund these critical projects!

How You’re Changing Lives

If you’ve worked with us before, here are some specific homes that you’ve helped us build in our partnership with Homes 4 Homes!

The Lamoya Family | Uganda

Anna, a resilient seventy-year-old widow, has weathered life's storms with unwavering faith. Her beloved husband, Joseph, passed away in 2022. Anna's steadfast spirit anchors her in the face of adversity. Despite the pain of losing her husband, Anna finds solace in her four surviving children. Her youngest son was tragically abducted by Lord's Resistance Army soldiers in 1996 never to return home. Anna is now the caretaker of one of her grandsons. Amidst these trials, Anna works hard and provides for themselves through small-scale farming.

However, their home-a dilapidated grass-thatched hut-is a testament to the harsh realities they face. Ravaged by termites and perpetually leaking, her hut does not protect them from the elements. Battling chronic asthma and debilitating ulcers, she presses on, her indomitable spirit driving her forward in the face of adversity. Yet, amidst the struggle, a beacon of hope emerges.

Thanks to your generosity, Anna now has a refuge to call her own! She and her grandson are now living in a brand-new brick home that will last for generations to come! Your compassion has transformed their lives! Anna extends her deepest gratitude for the profound impact your generosity has had on their journey.

The Aciro Family | Uganda

Grace, a fifty-year-old widow, bears the weight of her family's struggles alone. Her husband, Maliko, suffered a debilitating stroke and passed away in October 2021. His passing left Grace to navigate life's trials all on her own. Amidst her grief, Grace has shouldered the responsibility of caring for their seven children and a granddaughter.

One of her daughters suffers from mental illness. This has put an even bigger strain on Grace as she needs constant care. Their grass-thatched hut has been ravaged by termites leaving it structurally weak and in need of constant repairs. It has been hard for Grace to dream of an easier life with a more sustainable home.

Until now, thanks to your generous support, Grace and her family now have a new sanctuary to call their own! They are living in a sustainable brick home complete with a latrine! Your compassion has helped to alleviate some of their burdens, offering hope and a renewed sense of security. Grace extends her heartfelt gratitude for the profound impact your generosity has had on their lives.
